Family Life Ministry Moment: Forming Healthy Habits

In family life ministry I often get asked if resources are available for congregations, schools and homes. Concordia Center for the Family (CCF), a Recognized Service Organization of the LCMS, provides many free resources on topics such as faith filled conversations, family discipleship, parenting, and marriage.

One helpful resource series for parents—or any adult—is the Forming Healthy Habits resource set. It includes the following topics:

  • Bedtime Habits
  • Conversation Habits
  • Family Devotions
  • Habits in Marriage
  • Morning Habits
  • Mealtime Habits
  • Play Habits
  • Screentime Habits
  • Work Habits

Consider sharing this resource with families in your congregation and school.  While you are on the site check out the vast array of resources available to help equip homes for family discipleship! The more we talk the same language as fellow Christians, the more we can support each other in our shared walk as daily growing disciples of Jesus who are making more disciples of Jesus.
