Middle School Youth Gathering

Preparations for the 2024 Nebraska District Middle School Youth Gathering are being made. The theme for our gathering, scheduled for November 9-10 at Lincoln Lutheran Middle/High School in Lincoln, is GrOw. It is important for middle school youth to be reminded that every day we are called to GROW in the knowledge and truth of Jesus Christ as we learn how God PLANTS a seed of faith in us through baptism, PRUNES our lives for growth, and calls us to live by the Spirit to PRODUCE fruit for Him that lasts an eternity! This year’s theme is based on 2 Peter 3:18 and will encourage youth to GrOw continually!

Please note that you will register for the gathering and then make separate arrangements for housing with the hotel of your choice. Hotel costs are not included in the registration fee. Each group will pay housing fees directly to the hotel. This allows your group the flexibility of booking the number and type of rooms that fit your group best. Please follow the instructions on the attached housing information page.

All gathering participants must register in Family Groups. A Family Group consists of at least 1 adult for every 7 youth. Adult leaders must be at least 21 years of age, and groups with both male and female participants are strongly encouraged to have both a male and a female adult leader.

Please use the checklist below to ensure that your registration will be processed quickly and accurately. If you need additional copies of the registration form, please duplicate page 1 so we have the congregational information as a reference, adding the next Family Group in alphabetical sequence. Print and complete an Emergency Information/Release Form for each participant (adults & youth).

Please be mindful of the registration deadline and register as soon as possible. We are limited to 450 participants. Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If your registration is postmarked by September 30, the fee is $105 per person. Between October 1 & October 15, registration is $115 per person. After October 15, registration is considered late, and the fee will be $140 per person. Full payment of gathering registration fees and completed emergency forms are required or your registration will be returned. DO NOT SEND FORMS WITHOUT PAYMENT. Please make only one payment per group. (NOTE: Online registration is NOT available for this event.)
