Hearts for Jesus Project

Each year, the Nebraska District chooses a project to support with their prayers and offerings throughout the school year. Schools may send their Hearts for Jesus offerings to the District Office clearly marked as “Hearts for Jesus.”
The projects supported by Hearts for Jesus alternate each year between national missions and missions within the Nebraska District.
Each year, the Nebraska District chooses a project to support with their prayers and offerings throughout the year. All contributions to Hearts for Jesus during the 2025-2026 school year will be used to help support Children’s HopeChest.
Nebraska District schools may send their clearly marked “Hearts for Jesus” offerings, as they are accumulated, to: Nebraska District LCMS, PO Box 407, Seward, NE 68434.
The Hearts for Jesus Project for the 2025-26 school year is to work alongside the efforts of other NDLCMS congregations in establishing a new Children’s Hope Chest CarePoint in Magoro, Uganda. This initiative aims to transform the lives of 1,000 of the most vulnerable children in the community.
