Congratulations to the 2023 LCEF Nebraska District Scholarship Recipient

Each year the LCEF Nebraska District offers a $1,000 scholarship to one graduating high school senior with a minimum 3.0 GPA or current full-time post-secondary student at an accredited institution with at least one year of courses remaining and a minimum 2.5 GPA. All applicants must also be a member of a congregation belonging to The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod located in the Nebraska District. The LCEF Nebraska District College Scholarship was developed to encourage college students in the Nebraska District LCMS to pursue their educational goals. Those who applied for the scholarship provided an essay and two letters of recommendation. The LCEF Nebraska District is pleased to announce that Emily Loseke has been selected as the recipient of the 2023 scholarship. Emily is attending Concordia University Nebraska, and her program of study is the Director of Christian Education (DCE) program and Secondary Education with an English field endorsement. Emily is a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Columbus, NE. Congratulations to Emily Loseke!
